Sorry if this has been posted before but I am looking for a way to copy my DVDs to my computer in a smaller format with good quality (xvid I guess). I am going on a road trip on Saturday and would rather fill up my laptops hard drive than carry around a bunch of dvds. I already own the DVDs and do not plan to steal if thats what you are thinking. Does anyone know of a good converter or ripper? Thanks.

i remember back in the day i found myself a copy of dr. divx. And he ripped all my dvds into some really high quality DivX files (1DVD=.8-1GB). Look for some Dr. Divx if u can find him. And im not sure but u might need a DVD decryptor for anything, cuz a lot of the programs need something to get around the encryptions and shit.
