Best Xbox 360 game?

Alright, I am finally going to be getting my Xbox 360 tomorrow from FreePay and I'm at a dilemma as to which game to get...I really only have enough money for one game so I need to make it a good one
Any suggestions?

I know you will think this is absolutely insane and I know it's not one of the very best games for the 360 but I'd recommend renting or buying Tomb Raider Legend. I played it yesterday with a friend and it was a really good game. The graphics and gameplay were suprisingly good and it was a lot of fun.

Graw is great single player but
MULTIPLAYER ROCKS
Seriously its hard at first but once you get the hang of it, its amazing

i play mostly PDZ also. And they will be adding 4 new multiplayer maps to xbox live very soon.
But if i were only going to get one game, i would hold out for Gears Of War. It looks fucking awesome.

I didn't like PDZ, the graphics were pretty good but I didn't like the story mode. \

i've heard the COD2 multiplayer is sweet, and I've played through the game on PC, so the actual game is great too!! it's on the top of the most played list online for the 360...halo2 is still at the top. when i get my 360, i'll be playing lots of COD2, geometry wars, uno, table tennis, and fight night round 3 (that game looks amazing!!)

Halo 2 is still the best Xbox 360 game (sarcasm), or of course geometry wars. I really like GRAW the boxing game everyone was talking about kinda sucked too. Oblivion is such a computer game though and the xbox edition just a port you can't really consider it a xbox 360 game. Halo 3 or the 2 other new fps's that are coming out soon are probaly the best bet.

after reading reviews for the first time, i have decided on oblivion. sounds AMAZING. i wil probably grab a second game as well since i can feel better about it having saved $30 with a gift card.
too bad lost odyssey will not be out for what seems like another ten years. i have been looking forward to that since loooong before the 360 was released. it might be one that i have to pre-order, because the story just seems that good.
