Marching band? That's pretty cute. Haha. Umm... I had an awesome site for all kinds of free music lessons for pretty much every instrument, let me try and find the link for you again and I'll edit this post or PM you or something.

Hehe, I know exactly what you mean ) I was in marching band all through HS. I went to a big football school. We had practice from 630am-830am every morning. Plus extra 2hr. rehearsals after school. You have to memorize about 10min. of music, and memorize about 50 "sets" (directional movements on the field). On top of that you have to make sure you're in step, not out of the form, [i9ff4492926]and[/i9ff4492926] marching w/ correct posture. And a lot more than that..... You can probably figure out what instrument I played (Alto).

As for an answer to your question.....there's bitme.org, but no offense, I don't think you would be able to keep up a good ratio....

Yeah, college marching band is pretty intense. Memorizing music and sets for a different show every 2-3 weeks. I remember one year we had like 4 weeks without any home games, and then 3 games in a row... we had to learn 3 different shows at one time.

Anyway, syriandoode... feel free to IM me anytime, I can give you some tips on what to practice.
