Everything is 15-30% cheaper at Woot.

Their whole model is selling one item a day, starting at midnight. They have a few promotions the Woot-off, where they feature several items in rapid succession; the Bag of Crap, where you select 1-3 mystery items at $1 a piece (you pay the same flat shipping rate whether you pick 1, 2, or 3 items); and I think one or two others.

It's a cool idea. I like the limited assortment and treasure hunt aspects of it. But it's just never been practical for me.

Yeah, I saw the wine one. I would actually consider buying that, but I don't think my dorm would particularly like the though of four bottles of wine passing through their mail room. I wonder how they check ID... In any case, I've never bought anything off of woot. It's a great idea though, and if I ever saw something I wanted, I'd certainly buy it, but the few times I've considered buying, it's been sold out.

I got a bag of crap once....the three things in it were

1) a broken Virgin portable CD player (it sorta worked...I have it somewhere still I think),
2)A very cheap stuffed panda (made in china of course), and
3) A "fact or crap" daily rip off calendar....

It cost me 8 bucks...Entertained me for about 20 minutes while I found AA bateries to stick in the CD player and tried to get something on it to play....Pretty useless crap really
