The Korean war.

For our final in lit this year we have to make a speech. I received the topic of why we shouldn't have gotten involved in the Korean War. I'm sure that someone on here knows something about it and can help me. I've been having a little bit of trouble finding good info and I would really appreciate anything. Thanks, +karma

Are you sure it is saying why we shouldn't have gotten involved in the Korean War? South Korea was pretty fucked at that moment, and they really did need help.

My grandpa fought in the Korean War...

My dad's birthday is the same as when the Korean War started.

Perhaps you could mention how WW1 was the "War to End All Wars" and how WW2 was a precursor in some ways to that saying.

Preceding came the Korean War which you could argue we should not have become invovled since we were in the already "War to End All Wars" era and belief.

yeah and someone else got why we should have been there.

So the speech is tomorrow and I really don't have anything yet. I need an outline to hand in too. You guys sure no one knows anything about this here? I'd really appreciate any help. thanks

dude, you should've given a whole speach on how hawkeye had some real trouble and klinger couldn't get out of the army by dressing up like a girl! (isn't it kind of odd that a tv show about a war, lasted longer than the actual war?)
