searching for answers for this on google is useless because it's pretty much all advertisement so-
does anyone know the current prices of all/many of the domain extensions? i remember .infourl==http://=http:///url or .nameurl==http://=http:///url or something was free at one point- are there anymore free ones?

The only "free" top level domains I know of, come with hosting plans which are not free.
Some TLD's are cheaper than others, some are just a few bucks a year. If you just want to register a domain, without hosting, I recommend GoDaddy.com. I've had my domains with them for several years now. I don't host with them, however -- for that I recommend 1and1. It may not be the cheapest but I like the service. I've had hosting with them for almost 3 years now. Domains are included in their hosting packages.

i think .tkurl==http://=http:///url is 9.95 a year- so if i buy a domain with godaddy (without hosting), then i can transfer it to my hosting for free?

.tk is not an official ICANN registered domain name.
it is a nooby domain name.
you can get .infourl==http://=http:///url for about $2 at most places, it used to be 99cents and i remember 49cents once

http//www.dot.tk/en/index.html allows a free referrer domain or $6.95 year paid.

they have seriously godawful service but www.registerfly.com has .infourl==http://=http:///url for 60 cents or less pretty regularly.
