The guy that bought the laptop was a dumbass anyways. I would never buy something expensive off a user with a 50% feedback rating.

Yeah, that is a little suspicious. The seller's eBay account isn't shown in any of the screenshots. Also, in both screenshots, MS Paint is open with files called "ebay auction 1" and ebay auction 2"
Also, you reap what you [icd84e73bc7]sow[/icd84e73bc7]. Unless you knit, I guess.

Here's the original auction, or so it seems...

I took the auction number out of one of the screenshots and looked for the auction that way...

[quotec8a3970629="OldManWrigley"]If you check his feedback, and look at feedback left for others, there's no negative feedbackc left about any broken laptop transaction....[/quotec8a3970629]
That, in and of itself, is not an indicator of anything suspicious. Retaliatory feedback is commonplace on eBay. Many sellers refuse (against eBay guidelines BTW) to leave feedback upon receipt of payment like they're supposed to, instead waiting until the buyer leaves feedback. Which gives a shady seller the opportunity to ruin a buyers perfect feedback record for legitimately complaining about the transaction.
I am very protective of my 100% Positive feedback and have refrained from leaving negative feedback in the past out of fear of retaliation. Since eBay will not remove feedback, even if it's proven bogus and retaliatory, it's sometimes better to just not leave any feedback than to leave negative or even neutral. Maybe that's why feedback wasn't exchanged in this case. I didn't read the whole story, so I don't know if feedback was mentioned.
Note that the seller from doylnea's link has 3 negative feedback, and only 1 positive, for a net feedback score of -2. A pretty pathetic seller.
