Firefox Extensions Won't Install?

I just installed my Firefox profile on my wife's computer but it won't let me install any extensions. It downloads them and says they'll be installed next time Firefox is restarted but they never are.

I even restarted the computer and they still won't work. I searched the Firefox forums but it only lets me check one page. shrug

Sounds like maybe a corrupt profile but any ideas?

I had this problem too. My wife's computer was set to only accept extensions with pastel colors, sparkles, tassles, and other 'pretty' features.

you don't have firefox preloader installed. Because it won't load up the extensions until u unload the preloader then and then reload it again.

As in how many you can use? I have no problems on my computer where I have about 30 of them but this time I was only trying to install about 5.

But yeah, if you don't have preloader, then something else is causing ur problems.
