to be realistic though, i wish there were offers where you had to spen a certain ammount of money at best buy or comp usa or newegg to get credit. D

the thing about the rest you mentioned is that there are significant costs and commitments involved in running a serious cpa campaign. the idea is to generate tons of qualified leads. the appeal of, say, lexisnexis is not that broad. it doesn't make sense, business-wise, for them to try to get tons of leads. they only need a few (relatively speaking) high-paying customers to survive whereas, say, OnLingo is going to need hundreds of thousands of free trial customers to wind up breaking even.

as for shopping offers, it's theoretically possible - most online stores offer affiliate %age programs. the problem is twofold fraud and crediting time. most of the stores don't "finalize" credit for a sale until a month later once they're sure the customer hasn't returned the product or charged it back. and if you offer anything like shopping for credit there's going to be no end of people trying to scam the shit out of it to get credit, i.e. fake cc's, chargebacks, etc.

edit and to be comparable to a middle of the road offer at $35 (assuming the store offers 5%, which is high for electronics), you'd have to spend $700.

PORN! I seriously wonder why theres never porn sites. Knowing full well that they have a ton of affilate programs. Freebie site with porn offers should be made... With rewards ranging from free pornos to escorts.

There was a porn freebie site I remember seeing on A4F a lonnnng time ago (Septemberish 05).

Most affiliates (as far as I know) won't allow your site to have explicit content unless you team up with a solely porn affiliate.

i want to get my ref link on a porn site. some of those sites get crazy millions of hits

I'd love to see that spend X on Newegg or whereever, get credit. I buy everything online...
