With the release of Windows VI (Beta 2).. What are you plans?
Personally, I'm gonna wait a bit for some reviews and then do a clean install of VI.

By VI I assume you mean Vista.
Considering I do a fresh install on my XP system about once every 2 months, I'll be doing a fresh install. I'll probably get it right away and put it on a seperate partition and see how it works out. Its kinda what I do for a living so I need to be familiar with it...

Yep, I meant Vista.. Just felt like shortening it down to V.I. (but ironically it is Windows 6.0, so you could use roman numerals as well) idea

I won't move over until there are either really good reviews or SP1...

Don't you mean RC1?

No, not really.. Service Pack 1 will be released about a year after the retail release of Vista. (Mid-Late 2008)
Release Candidate 1 will be released 3-6 months after the second beta of Vista. (Late 2006-Early 2007)

You should always do a clean install, regardless. I format and re-install XP at least twice a year, or with any signficant system upgrade. A new version is most definitely a format/re-install!
As to Vista, due to my MSDN Universal subscription, I have access to all betas and release candidates, as well as the final version when it's released. So I'm sure I'll install it on at least one PC (I've actually installed the Longhorn beta on a VMWare VM before, but deleted it after a system rebuild). If I had to pay extra for it, however, it would be most likely be a long time before I jumped on it.

I always do clean installs too (it avoids any issues from the previous install). However, Beta 2 does have an upgrade feature, that's the only reason why I threw that in the poll.
