I'm trying to decide which one to get,(obviously the macbook has better features,) but would like to know all the differences between the two.
also, how much would a new ibook sell for?

i realize that, but i know that the ibook would be cheaper, so i just wanted to know what the differences are between the two to see if the extra $ is worth the features.

ibook vs macbook
1. regular vs wide screen
2. fat vs thin
3. g4 vs core duo processor (ibm vs intel)
4. no camera vs having one
5. mechanical vs magnetic opening hatch (and power plug)
macbook also has other features. it is 100 more expensive tho (unless through amazon mail-in rebate).
basically, macbook > ibook.

The apple website spells things out pretty well.
You would be better off just getting a macbook. It's 5+ times faster than the ibook, has a camera, a nice widescreen, and can boot Windows OS among other things.
IOf I were you I would rather spend the extra $100 than buy an outdated machine, not that the ibook isn't capable of running nicely.
it also has a remote sensor.
I think the clincher is that you can use your Macbook as a lightsaber
