My mom is staying at our shore house all summer which is wireless and needs a computer that will last a few years and do basic things such as Email, Ms Office, Web surfing etc
Any really good deals out there right now like a Dell after coupons or something after rebates?

you shouldnt really customize then, buy a already built system. Customizing may take a bit too long (next week that is)

im currently in the market for a laptop in that kind of price range.. maybe up to a little over $800 because i'd like to use my $400 gc from freepay on one.. that buy.com one is tempting, but i cant use a gc on it. i see a couple decent ones on amazon, but dont want to pull the trigger just yet. i dont really care for anything on circuit city or best buy. i prefer building a dell, but again, no gc.
