very unique innovation.. but how exactly does the shoes communicate with the nano other than having a cord run from the shoe to the nano (which is a safety hazard of its own).. Unless that 'kit' comes with a wireless transmitter.

That'd be really cool, esp for long distance runners. I wonder if they'll make it so that any shoe can hold the sensor.

More likely, though I'm guessing, the shoe transmitter laces into your shoe the same way the sensor that marathons and large road races use to track your place and pace laces into your shoe. There's absolutely no market for a shoe particular to the Nike/Itune sensor.

My concern with the product would be this caveat
