I know I have asked this question before. I sold WOW on ebay and now the guy wants me to open up the box and email him the CDKEY after he pays with paypal. Then he is paying shipping for me to send the CDs to him. Can I get scammed? Will he say I opened it or something?

But it would still show me shipping it with a tracking number. Could I still get scammed?

EDIT. I just emailed him and told him I can't do that because I have been scammed on paypal before.

Good boy. Now sit.

Lol. Yes, you can easily get scammed that way. All he would have to do would tell paypal you never sent anything/he never recieved anything and he gets his $$ back. Or he could say that the product wasn't as described....etc.

So many ways to scam you there. So you indeed did make the smart choice.

Good job grasshopper.

he can say the package was "not as described" anyway... it don't matter whether it's really open or not... once he does that, it's his word against yours... ebay/papal is just like freebie site trading... you can scam a bunch of pple but in the end, if ur account is closed, you'll prolly lose alot more.
