I'd like to find some more stuff. Maybe just list what groups you like and what type of music they are, or anything that you would recommend. Right now I only know Evolucion (rock band from Costa Rica), Jorge Drexler (Pop/folk guitar singer from Uraguay), and that reaggeton stuff which i can only stand in clubs once in awhile. k thanks!

The current "in" style is "reggeaton." With the likes of Daddy Yankee and Don Omar. I think it's stupid because they just say the same thing over and over again (like rappers).

There's also this band that my cousin is crazy about called RBD or Rebelde.

I don't listen to much music in spanish. I do like Sergio Mendes, but he's from Brasil.

Alejandro Fernandez -- like the Barry White of Spanish music
Shakira -- a given. I think Stroid would agree wink

Good latin rock/pop artists are Maná, Ricardo Arjona, Juanes, Luis Fonsi, Julieta Venega, Reik, and RBD

Good reggaeton artists are Wisin & Yandel, Zion & Lennox, Don Omar, Daddy yankee and Rakim & Ken Y

I absolutely adored Shakira when she would perform Spanish songs. I think that I liked those songs better, and they had more of her style, which includes a lot more ass-shaking and all that good stuff.

Shakira in Spanish is a must.
