Here's my problem... I just got my ibook today, but I have already planned to sell it on eBay because I have my heart set on this Toshiba notebook at Best Buy. It is widescreen (much larger than the iBook) has an AMD Turino (if I remember correctly) and a DVD burner!!! That sounds so damned sweet (besides, the iBook specs don't look so great). It costs around $1200 so I have saved up a little too. I really wanted the Toshiba, but now the iBook is here, I'm dying to open it. I've always wanted to own a Mac and this one looks so fucking sleak. All white... dope looking.
So I'm not screwing around with this thread. I REALLY need help. EVERYONE voice your opinions please. Which do you think I should keep and why? Depending on the immediate responses, I may be using my iBook tonight. Thanks.

Use the iBook, it's awesome. Better yet, send it in for store credit @ Apple and then wait for the Macbook =P

Is the Macbook much more expensive? The Toshiba only requires 2 or 3 hundred extra. I don't want to have to save more than that. Also, I don't have an Apple store in town... could I actually mail the iBook back to them for credit?
take it to the apple store RIGHT now.. get store credit..
say it was a gift from a relative.. tell them ur going to save up for a macbook pro.
then get the macbook when it comes out. its the new intel ibook.

The Macbook is too much! I can't get it. It's either the iBook or Toshiba. Someone please help. Which of the two would you choose (consider the specs... the Toshiba looks much better)? If I'm to sell the iBook, I'd like to do it soon. I really need the majority's help. If you guys tell me to sell (NOT for the Macbook), I'll sell, keep, I'll keep. Thanks.

they are coming out with the macbook (not macbook pro)
its what will replace the ibook and will have an intel processor.. so when it comes out take ur store credit and get that one.

there is a rumor on ThinkSecret that the MacBook COULD (it is a possibility and not yet a fact) could come out tomorrow on Tuesday May 16th
The Intel iBook is most likely going to be called MacBook (which is what everyone is talking about on the forums).
