It's a great movie.

But one that I can watch over and over for free.

Its the unrated special editionlili. Plus it was never released to theatres because of columbine. I'm a cheap ass, but this one im not going to miss out on. Otherwise I would have bought the special edition dvd, but why do I need 2 boondock saints DVD's. O well I like this movie enough to 'waste' money on it.

lili The fight scenes are longer and more blood and gore than the original version. Also might include some of the deleted scenes, im not sure. However it should be interesting to see, the big screen event also includes some documentary. However keep in mind the version in theatres wont be exactly of which you have seen before.

I've always loved this film. I'd probably love it more if I actually hailed from Boston. )

Also, Billy Connoly is great in this, but Dafoe's role is a bit overrated.

Hmm......doesn't sound too bad judging by what imdb says (or at least the user rating).

Didn't know Billy Connolly (love him) was in it, but if Tholek recommends it, it must be at least half decent. wink

Yes, I always ignore the other half.

It would be cool to see it on the big screen...

For those who havent seen it...it definitely gives you a rush especially at the very end. Too bad the sequel is postponed.
