I'm going to buy a PDA next semester after I get my iMac G5.

I want a square-shaped device (none of that ugly curvy useless ugliness) and wifi enabled (for surfing and chatting while in the lounge at school D ).. my limit is $250. Should i splurge on palm or pocketpc? What are the pros and cons for each? Very few sites give any information on the actual OSs and i'd like to know what features i'll have.

thanks!

I don't know if you've looked into this yet or not, but freePalms.com offers a choice of 3 different Palms for 8 referrals. There's a Conga Circle for it, and proof's been posted on t he Gear Live forums. PM me if you want a link to the Circle.

{Edit] You can find the GearLive thread here[=http//www.gearlive.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3645&sid=c5b59828453d2953f04bca2dc2453154]here.

i'm looking to actually purchase a PDA with real money and no referrals involved. i can order it and get it the next day ) not months later (

if you're going to get a mac and not a PC, I'd say that's one point for palm since the windows-friendly architecture of the pocket PC won't be as appealing to you.
