Region-Free Mac?

Anyone know of software that will let you play any region DVD's on an iBook G4?

I found one on Softpedia but it says

Which to me sounds like it defeats the purpose. I know you can change it on the Mac itself but it limits it to only 4 changes and that's it.

I found a couple of other downloads but they're about 3-4 years old. shrug

VLC will not work, that just does software and the hardware is still region locked...

Check what drive model you have, and then check here

There's probably other sites around but basically you'll need to flash the firmware of your dvd drive. Easiest way is to google your DVD model and RPC1.
