443pm People still piling in, Sony will start once everyone's seated. Good opportunity for PSP gaming.

430pm The line's finally moving. Conference should begin shortly.

419pm Press conference still has not started yet. There's a tremendous line to still get into the theater. Estimated start time could be about 500 PM PDT.

403pm People are still coming into the theater for the presentation, so it has not started as of yet. However, it will shortly.

the controller is wiireless and it has 6 degress control so if move it up the camera moves up hard to explain like the WE controller well looks the same but better than the 360 controller

The 20gb version of the PS3 will NOT have HDMI. That really blows.....
Looks like i will have to buy the 60gb version..... but im not gonna buy 2 of them like I was hoping to do (

too many people already owning 360's plus the extreme cost of it. I was going to preorder a bunch then ebay them, now im thinking maybe ill just take what I get from freepay

There was an article floating around A4F or some other forums earlier, I'll try and dig it up. It shows the differences between the 20 and 60GB versions of the PS3.

Notice the IGN article says this

That is saying the 60GB has only a single HDMI port, rather than dual, and speculates as to support for dual display by using both the HDMI and AV ports.

So it appears that the 60GB version does indeed come with HDMI, plus several other useful features. Definitely seems to be worth the extra $100. I know which one I'll be going for...

Iloveipods2 The controller is supposedly still the boomerang, stealing Nintendo Wii's motion sensor technology with its "Six degrees of rotation" scheme to control the camera which is pretty neat though not really a shocker.

Also, it will be wireless with a USB charger (The USB cable also serves as the connection for the times you want to use the controller wired).

The PS3 controller will not be the bommerang. Gamespot released a picture of the final design http//www.gamespot.com/news/6149586.html?q=ps3%20controller

Also the PS3 controller did not rip the will's idea. From what ive read, the motion sensing will only affect the camera in games. The will controller will actually let you use your characther to interact with the environment
via the controller. Theres a huge difference
it looks similar to a ps2 dual shock 2 controller except it has motion sensing, a shitload of other features and its Lighter. There will be no way to have a rumble feature in the ps3 controller because it messes up the motion sensing. (Im sure the wii controller will have similar problems)

XBOX 360 [bba60ef04f5]IS[/bba60ef04f5] the new Dreamcast (or Dreamcast 3 rather).. If you were into the scene back then or an avid reader of the Official DC mag, you'd see some similarity.. Sega had planned a External DVD Drive when Sony announced that the PS2 would have one built in.. Sega also had planned something similar to XBOX Live before XBOX was announced.. It also planned to have an MP3 VMU which you could download songs off the Dreamcast and listen to them and also store your game saves and play VMU games.. Dreamcast also planned on releasing a Camera for the system as well and a headset for Dreamcast to Dreamcast phone calls (the microphone was released and worked with Sega's DreamCall service).. A 250 MB Iomega Zip Drive was even in the works..

Microsoft took Sega's innovations and built on them for the XBOX and the same innovation is carrying over to the XBOX 360.

As for Nintendo's reel the only game that seems worth trying is Disaster.
