My friend needed some cash, so i decided to help him out by using my paypal account. I used paypal to make a button to charge $330 to whoever wanted to purchase the item. My friend went on the site i made and clicked the button, filled out his credit card info, and then 330 went into my paypal balance. We then went downstairs to the buildings ATM and withdrew the money, and i gave it all to him. We did this twice, with $660 being the total. After about 3 weeks, paypal sends me a few emails that these were suspicious transactions and they removed $660 from my paypal account, forcing my balance into negatives. This also placed my paypal account on hold. My "friend" claims his card was stolen so all transcations were blocked, but i don't care what happened since i am the one screwed. I want to get everything back to normal, but I am not sure what to tell paypal. I don't want to state anything against TOS, and i tried searching for cash advance questions, but i was out of luck.

ANY suggesstions will be GREATLY appreciated. Will give +krma and a paypal bonus when my account gets into order. Thanks.

What I would do is just be honest with PayPal. I had troubles with them, called them up, and fully admitted that I had several Premier accounts, and one or two other minor TOS I violated. They simply told me what to fax in, I faxed it in, and my account is back to normal, however they did close out my other accounts x

There's really nothing you can do.. You were clearly violating the PayPal Terms of Service and you knew it.. You are going to have to pay the consequences for your actions.

I am sure there is something in there that says you cant use PayPal to launder money (I know you werent doing that.. But PayPal doesnt know that)
