well i am pissed because i was actually a really big fan of anna lucia's the whole time, i really like her character. i am not so upset about libby, and theres even a chance she may still be alive...i hate michael, what an ass.

well, i doubt she was banging his dad. seemed like they were in separate rooms the way she looked at him when he banged on the door. although he was likely coming from the bar, i doubt they shared rooms. I am curious where sawyer comes in with jacks dads death. i know last season he had mentioned to jack that he ran into him and we saw that, but I am unsure if it was a con gone wrong.
michael shot himself, not henry. it showed henry alive and well in the coming attractions.
michael is desparate to get his son back, hence the willingness to go against his own beliefs and sabotage the survivors and kill anna lucia. the reason anna lucia was targeted is because she already killed 2 or more of the others. obviously she is a threat, plus vengeance is a beautiful thing.
interestingly, curly will never find out that libby was in the psych ward with him.
this may cause him to decompensate.
for the medical comment, you can totally collapse from a gunshot wound to the stomach. i think he actually shot libby and anna lucia more than once.
the bullet when it enters the body often richochets off of organs and bone so a straight thru and thru is not often the case. if it hits a major vessel like the aorta or IVC you can bleed out in your abdomen within minutes. the shock from the sudden loss of blood pressure right after getting shot can cause u to collapse and pass out while u then hemmorhage to death. also, if the bullet severs your spinal cord -> paralysis is a good reason to collapse. )
film tends to play around with who dies from a single gun shot and who can live for hours before medical care. this occurs in real life, but not to the same extreme.

3. With all of the end of epi craziness, no one has discussed this - When Locke stormed in and talked to Henry, he asked him why Henry hadn't hurt him. Henry responded that Locke was "one of the good ones". Do you think that Henry was telling the actual opinion of the Others, or just playing with Locke's head again?

2) both libby and ana lucia had a dui (or more than one? i dont remember). them both dying would not surprise me in the least.

I think Libby will end up living because she has that ongoing storyline with Hurley about her being a nut job. I've always thought Ana Lucia was going to be a short lived character. I hope Ecko doesn't die...

Yeah I think Libby will live also. I mean why would they show her in the Mental Instituation with Hurley without giving an explantion as to why she was even there?

Henry's definitely fucking with Locke because he's already tried it and it worked (remember the lockdown, not knowing if he actually pushed the button, then Locke shouting at him asking if he pushed it and Gale smiling to himself).

Just like when he told Jack and Locke that what if he was an Other, led Jakcs friends into the Jungle to follow some map and get caught in a trap.

As far as locke being a good guy. Yes and no. The others are obviously in charge of the island so as an ideal they want all the survivors to be respectful and obedient of their wishes. So if Locke doesn't obide by what the others say then he is resisting the desires of the others and is thus not a good person to them.

Hey at least this means less flashbacks and character development for 2 charcters they can finally get to the the white meat of the story.

New thoughts now that Anna gave it up to sawyer when will Kate?
When do the survivors find out Micheal killed everyone and what kind of tensions will that bring to the island. My theory Henry goes back and others decide not to release Walt but let everyone know the plan they gave to Micheal thereby dividing the camp even further. Honestly Micheal is dumb if he thinks they're giving Walt back after he released Henry.

Has he not watched the movies or have common sense. Like me kidnapping the president and then letting him go on the condition that money will be advanced to me on a later date. Ya right.

Spoilers and some speculation on the shootings

[spoiler8bd609fff4]Ana Lucia is most definitely dead. The whole DUI put the show execs over the edge of her already "hard to work with" attitude. Libby on the other hand is questionable. The way she was shot gives more room to the possibility of her living, at least for a few more days. She was shot through a blanket and possibly a wine bottle. In the preview for the next eppy Michael is seen in the back of the vault - where he would presumably be locked up in. Therefore, his actions have been found out somehow, lending to the idea that Libby might be comatose for a bit and then wake up to tell everyone what happened. But she'll die too, eventually, as rumors are that both actresses have been fired. [/spoiler8bd609fff4]

PS - The only reason Ana "gave it up" to Sawyer ( we were all seriously wanting to shoot the tv screen) was to get his gun

what's DUI, driving under the influence?

I am guessing that the others did tell michael to shoot ana, he was probably sent back to get the guy out, probably brainwashed or sometihng, but at the end of the episode, doesn't michael shoot himself after he opens the door to Henry?

edit after wathcing it again, i think he shoots himself in the arm, to make it look like he had a struggle with ana.

I think they captured Micheal right away and made him believe the only way he is getting Walt back is by releasing Henry...

The thing is though, Michael was gone before they even caught Henry, so someone had to tell the Others that the Losites had Henry, meaning there may be another Other in amongst the Losties.

Michael only shot himself (in the arm) to make it looks as if Henry shot him, Ana and Libby. Although, how is Micahel going to explain how Henry got out and got the gun in the first place?

I think Ana Lucia was always going to be a short term character but her 3rd or 4th DUI and bad attitude just sealed the deal...

yep, she is a royal bitch on the set... and her face looks like somebody hit her with a brick... maybe that is why she is so mad.

These episodes were filmed before the DUIs I think. They are both still working for the show, and will appear in more episodes as flashbacks, etc.

Rodriguez was not fired for being a pain, etc. She was not meant to be a main character, but a supporting one. You will be seeing more people like her that do short stints.
