Is there an alternative to the pc software that enables you to stream music and video to my xbox 360?
In fact the software only enabled me to stream music.
The problem is that the software is a resource hog. Not so much memory as it is cpu intensive. At any given time the service was running at between 30-50% cpu usage which is incredibly high. This was happening even when not streaming. Also when you close the program or end the service task. It automatically launches itself 20 seconds later.
Lastley, is there software this will let me stream divx or mp4 just as windows media center did. If there isnt, i guess i can just hook up my old modded xbox with XBMC and do it there

You still need a MCE box to stream video to the 360.

You're using the MS windows media connect right? Strange that it would be taking that much cpu, maybe it's your pc (drivers, etc..).

I dont think so. My computer is in tip top shape. I have aq 3200+ and a gb of ram and no program does that
