I dont wanna drop $100 on the xb360 wireless adapter. Therefore, i was wondering if i could use a regular usb wireless adapter? Something like this (not saying this model, just to give an idea)

it would have to be something plug and play otherwise it wont work cuz u cant run software like that on a 360
Nope. I think it's hardware specific regardless of its plug and play connectivity.
