just wonderin about lost

Everybody remember how in the first season there was that big monster/machine thing on the island. Well what the hell happened to it, haven't heard from it all season. Where the hell is desmond. AND when is the new epsidoe gonna air.







And yes, i do add a poll to every thread that i make.

the monster/machine was written off late in season 1 as a defense mechanism of the island for protection. That was the last mention of that.

I am glad it is gone. Seemed too hokey to be taken seriously. This stuff with the hatch is much better.

so they just completely abandoned it, and made it seem as though it never happened. Of course this new shit is better, but how can i just forget about all that old stuff. THe machine was evident in lost til the last episdoe, when jack was being dragged down into a hole, and then kate threw a stick of dynamite into the hole, so kate killed the machine, but how would it go down so easy. Wellll, i just think its kidna weird.

what are you guys talking about? they had it when they that priest dudes story...

dang im behind just finishd the first season. thougth the end was of it was stupid cuz they never show whats in that hatch thing.

can u clarify man. I know ur taklin about eko, but when.

when he went into the jungle w/ charlie to go fetch the plane w/ the statues

charlie fell down and eko faced it and looked at it. the machine then moved away and was never seen again shrug

And yes the smoke monster was definitely there during the last Eko episode.... that was one of the biggest moments of this season lol. If you don't remember that, rewatch.
