it's basically just an invitation to the shared document. You can then all edit it as well. Once added to the one document, you will then have an account.
The rest that wanted invites, PM me or post your email addy and I will add you to the document ;). I don't belive it needs to be a gmail address but it might help.

It should be rather quick. It is from google so it should be fast as fast can be.

I just added those again in case it didn't go through. Any of you are now able to add anyone else you wish. Just hit the "collaborate" tab and add a new email addy.
You can also now create your own new documents and add anyone you wish.

Nearly a week later.... has anyone found a legitimate use for this yet other than a sweet graffiti wall? I have Word at home and work, and a thumb drive that goes everywhere with me, so I don't really have a use for it. I'd be interested to hear if anyone's got stories about how well it opens complicated Word docs, saves as Word docs, etc.

I'm thinking of using it with a few friends of mine that all work on some websites together, a down and dirty way to share documents that contain code snippets, client notes, etc. A cheap collaboration tool is how I'm looking at it, can't justify the costs of Basecamp or the likes...
Guess I could use 37's writeboard in that case, but oh well...
