PVR software....

I recently got a video capture card, but I don't want to use the piece of crap PVR software it came with... This isn't going to be a dedicated PVR, so I don't want to use KnoppMyth with MythTV or anything, but does anyone know of a good, free, Windows-compatible PVR software? Thanx!

I used WinDVR from Intervideo for a long time. It isn't officially free, but this is the Internet after all... ;)

This one is supposed to be really good. Its open source i tihnk.

i second that!! ive used it and LOVE it

if your willing to dedicate an entire PC use MythTV, very customizable and run on linux so wont crash as much

Here's another vote for MythTV, I've been running it for years. It's not for the faint of heart though. If you're new to the Linux/Myth scene, you might start with a KnoppMyth or MythDora distro first.
