What's up with all the people looking for e-gold these days?

It's my understanding that e-gold is used for shady websites or services so the money can not be traced or disputed. Like pathetic get-rich quick investment schemes. Or buying drugs (Yea there used to be a website with mailorder weed where you had to use e-gold to buy it...it existed for a good couple of months before getting busted)

I just find it a little shady. If anything was legitimate they'd take cc or paypal or something of the like.

What do you use e-gold for?
