Which colleges are you looking at?

There's a ton to do in Boston, and the weather is nice this week (although rain is a possibility). Pick up copies of the Weekly Dig and the Boston Phoenix for ideas, but I'd here are some suggestions

[b09619dda42]Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market [/b09619dda42](Green Line). There's a lot going on in this area, from shopping to street performers.
[b09619dda42]Downtown Crossing[/b09619dda42] (Get off at Park St on the Green Line or Downtown Crossing on the Orange Line. [b09619dda42]Chacarero[/b09619dda42], a Chilean sandwich place right by the Macy's store, is the greatest food on Earth)
[b09619dda42]Harvard Square [/b09619dda42](on the Red Line or via the #1 or #66 bus)
[b09619dda42]The Charles River [/b09619dda42](Get off at Copley on the Green Line and ask for directions to the Hatch Shell)
[b09619dda42]The North End[/b09619dda42] has great Italian restaurants, including Mike's Pastry, a favorite of both tourists and locals.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know...

Do the Freedom Trail walk. If you like history at all it is very interesting. I started at Park, and went up to Beacon, then followed the signs. If you do the trail make sure you read all the plaques in the North End, some very nice stuff.

If you like Steaks try Abe & Louie's, a bit expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

My guess is you are not 21, but you should still check out the Bell in Hand and the Green Dragon Tavern, which is where the revolution was planned.

Well I moved from Boston 3 years ago but here is what I remmember

Visit the Museum of Science ( Take the green line E or D train to Lechmere plaza get out before the last stop)
Visit Prudential building you can see the boston view

or get out of gov't center its the last stop on the green line for B train and C train but E and D also pass it you can get food they make the best New England clam chowder Soup in a bow of bread not only that they have a lot of different food (as you walk out go east down the stairs and you are there)

Watch out for Cambridge (Harvard). Sketchiest place I've ever been to near and after dusk.

Quicy Market is really good. You can also follow the Underground Railroad and that brings you all around Boston and a lot of cool places.

First off if you see a Redsox fan you must beat the living daylights out of him for me.

Second if you want to go clubbing there is one general area that has all the clubs and bars on one street. Forgot the name but its there. SUX clubs close at like 2 or something. Not sure where your from but Im from Ny and can't stand a club closing at 2.

3rd - go to a sox game and curse out the entire team

4th - go check out local college scene. BU/BC/Northwestern/Harvard/etc

5th get some Ivy league punani

you Will be around some very smart rich young people

When I went to college I had the choice of either

a) Boston Univ
b) Univ of Miami

Guess which one I chose......

If you are from the west coast go to a Dunkin Donuts. They have one on every block, and if you don't see one wait 5 minutes and one will pop up.
