I have xp home and I put xp media center on it on a different drive. I don't want media center. How do I uninstall it?

Was it the only thing on the other drive? I would suggest just formatting the entire drive and deleting everything

If that's not the case, check out these two links...

You can't "uninstall" Windows. Did you configure it to dual boot both Home and MC? If not, and MC boots all the time, then you'll need to restore your master boot record on the XP Home partition to boot XP. The surest/safest way would be (if you have the XP Home install media) to boot from it and select to install to the existing Home partition. It will ask if you wish to overwrite the installation or repair it. Choose to repair it. It will re-install XP Home over itself, but not lose your programs or settings. You will have to have the CD key and reactivate (unless your copy doesn't require activation).

You can also try booting from the Home media, and choosing to run the Recovery Console. You'll choose the installation of Windows that you want to work with (the Home version) and enter the Administrator account password. Then you can type FIXMBR to fix the master boot record. That should get you booting Home again.

If you're dual-booting you might also trying going into System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery -> Settings and choosing Home as your default startup OS.

Once you're booting into Home by default, you can just delete the Windows Media Center folder on the other drive.
