does best buy take ipods w/out receipt & sub question.

hey guys, jw if i could possibly get best buy to take in my ipod (unopened) w/ out a receipt for some store cred. Cuz i need a sub installed, and they do it.

Also.. does anyone know how to install an infinity basslink X subwoofer. Like or some site that gives vivid instructions.

It just seems as though my freepay bestbuy giftcard may never come through -(.

I don't think you could, they're a bit lenient during holidays but now... go ahead and try, it can't hurt. I've been turned down trying to return an mp3 player.

The Best Buy Stores Return Policies say they won't, but it's worth a shot. shrug

That geek squad is a gang that needs to be taken down.

I returned a thumb drive that I bought yesterday from bestbuy.

for installing the sub do u have a subs already cause if so it will be realy easy to hook it up all u need to do is change out the wires from ur existing sub to ur new one.

if not u need to get all the cables and feed them thru the little hole that goes from the inside of ur car to under the hood. (some cars dont have this hole in that case u need to drill thru. connnect the wires to the battery of ur car. run them thru the car where you can see and into the trunk. this is a very simplified instructions i will make a better one later

but after i get the power hooked up to the sub, how will i be able to connect the sub to the (stock) stereo of my car. Will i need any special connections. BTW, if i get a new head unit whats the best way to get my ipod hooked up to it (w/out droppin 100$ on tthat damn ipod adapter thing).

The answer is no. I used to work for Worst Buy and trust me.. We are told to be pricks (in a manner of speaking).. Plus if you want to keep your job there, you need to sell Extended Warranties (Product Replacement Plan/Performance Service Plan) and Magazine Subscriptions.

When I worked there in Seattle, one of the managers in Geek Squad was arguing with a Mexican that was visiting the country and bought a laptop to take back with him.. He didn't want the Service Plan because he lives in Mexico and didn't want to bother with it and that was not good enough for the manager, the asshole almost got to the brink of yelling at the poor fellow.

This is also the very same store where Bill Gates visited on the midnight launch. ?
