6600GT. I got it for $99AR, it usually seems to hover around 100-110 AR.

7300's were just released, retails for 99. Your best bet.

I don't think 7300s are available in AGP? In any case, the 6600GT is still a more capable card, you just have to wait for it to be on sale.

havent checked benchmarks on this but im pretty sure the 7300 will slightly outperform a 6600

I don't think so. A 6600GT will still kill a 7300GS

6600GT
AGP 8X (PCI-e version is even better)
Memory Interface 128-bit
Memory Bandwidth 14.4 GB/sec.
Fill Rate (texels/sec.) 4.0 billion
Vertices per Second 375 million
Memory Data Rate 900 MHz
Pixels per Clock (peak) 8
RAMDACs 400 MHz

GeForce 7300 GS
Graphics Bus Technology PCI Express
Memory Interface 64-bit
Memory Bandwidth 6.5GB/s
Fill Rate (Billion pixels/sec) 2.2
Vertices/Second (Millions) 413
RAMDACs 400MHz

Low end cards usually don't best mid range cards from prev. generations. In any case, the 7300 is available only in pci-e so it doesn't matter.

your probably right, like i said i didnt check benchmarks. The current gen card will run more efficiently on lower specs though.

It's pretty basic, but I was glad to see the 6200 dip below $40 (after rebate). For those on a tight budget, it certainly beats the FX cards.
