What exactly are you looking for? A web hosting plan w/ a database? Or a database to put on your PC just for tooling around with SQL? If it's the latter, Access is great for that -- you can do stuff via GUI and SQL

of course ive used googe. i already have SQL set up on my host on my PC, but for certain reasons, i turned my host off. i don't need hosting either. i just need a SQL database..

http//www.mysql.org if you want JUST the database.
http//www.en.wampserver.com/ if you want WAMP (Windows Apache MySQL PHP)
I use WAMP for dev work on my laptop when I can't use my mac.

There are many, many to choose from. My preference is Firefox.
Google for
Derby
mySQL
PostgreSQL
Firefox
MS SQL Server Express
IBM DB2 Express (or is it Community?)
Oracle has a free version, can't remember the name
etc., etc.

yeah. ive tried that + many others such as badblock.com , etc. , but i get some error when I try to sign up. it's no biggie anyways. i found another one anyways. thanx!
