Saitek Eclipse backlit keyboard

does anybody else have one of these? i just bought one of these things on eBay, and it's so nice! i'll probably never need another keyboard again. i can actually use my computer in the dark now without squinting or having to let my eyes adjust from the monitor brightness to begin typing something. The keys are laid out in the normal standard way, each keystroke is really soft and comfortable, the backlighting has 3 settings (bright, dim, and off), and it's really solidly built.

highly recommended for anyone that hates trying to type blindly in the dark!!

Don't have one...but I'd see them. I might consider it if I used my CyberPower more often, but frankly I've just been using my laptop these days.

I prefer the Logitech G15 to the Eclipse, but they are nice KB's.

i almost bought one it was like $70 at best buy, how much you get it off ebay?

i did a little research (completed items) and found most of these keyboards go for around $40-$55

I just bought one for 20 dollars and 10 shipped.

Doesn't it kill your eyes to play FPS in the dark? I guess for dark games like DOOM 3 it would be good and would up the creepiness.

it's not bright enough to kill your eyes but it has a pretty nice glow to it. i have a saitek gaming keyboard which is basically the same thing but the lights don't go through the keys

i would return mine and get that deal, except i wanted the red backlighting and that one's blue
