I know that there have been a bunch of threads like this but the searching didn't really help. I don't really know what the best deal on there is. This is on Freepay's flatscreen site by the way, I sent in my approval form yesterday. I don't really need an LCD TV so if that doesn't work with my monitor or anything I don't think I'll want that.

I just want the best thing for a monitor that has good picture and such.

Right now I'm leaning towards the Phillips 19" LCD Monitor.

Here are the choices ---->

Thanks for the help and opinions guys. I made a poll to see what the popular opinion is, but I probably won't base what I'm gonna get off of it. I'll see what kind of opinions I get.

They don't have a big TV anymore? That's gay.

Definitely the Samsung, unless you want a TV then obviously the Viewsonic 20". Just look at the specs, Samsung's are best and they also make really good monitors (I asked some people on IGN boards before I sent in certs and they said Samsung). Unless your in need of the analog inputs and built-in speakers (who would want the built-ins anyway?) the Philips is worse. I'm actually using an older Philips 15" right now cry waiting for Freepay to approve me for the Samsung

Although I'm usually a Sony fan, the Samsung's specs look the best. Contrast ratio, response time, etc.

That sucks that they got rid of the 27" Sony.

Can someone explain to me what DVI's and VGA's are?

DVI is a digital input, so you'll obviously get a good picture. The VGA is the old standard input.
