i'm looking for a tv that would double as a computer monitor. any suggestions? i'd really like one that is high resolution widescreen that doesn't cost too much.

ah ever since i was like 12 i've wanted my TV to be my monitor, and have a sick computer. I'm also intrested if anyone knows of a good one.

a dlp or lcd with a dvi or vga input should work fine. the samsung dlp sets have vga inputs i think which would allow you to hook your pc up to it. a tube based direct view tv would work too, but there are usually more steps involved. my friend has a 42-inch samsung dlp hooked up to his pc and it looks pretty damned good. I have my Mac connected to my Sony CRT and it looks...not so good.

i think i'm gonna go with the Samsung LN-R238W LCD.

Yes i believe they are, and they look damn nice in tandem with the 360 so i say go for it. Let me know if you can find a reliable and cheap source of these tv's.
