how does one take a screen shot of what's on my comp? I'm trying to make one of the confirmation page of an offer, but unfortunately i've never done it before and i need a little help. thanks!

You can use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, or download a programme called SnagIt.

I use the latter.

Just hit print screen then go open paint and paste it into paint and save it

the keyboard button - it may say "prt scr" and is in upper right corner usually

It's on the SysReq key.

BTW pressing PrtScr alone will capture the entire desktop. Use Alt-PrtScr to capture the current window.

shift + Apple + 4 to take a pic of a portion of the screen

shift + Apple + 3 to take an entire screen shot

I was actually the complete [i1ed7012352]opposite[/i1ed7012352]. I didn't know that you could use just Prt Scr to capture the entire screen until I read it somewhere )

so all you do is press the button? i tried and nothing happened. How do i access these later?

Pressing the Prnt Scrn button is the same as copying your desktop. What do you do when you copy something? You paste it somewhere else. So open paint, or whatever image program you use, and hold control and press "V" or right click and paste.
