Wandering if anyone has any input on this issue.
When i boot up my computer during the boot process my monitor goes blank and displays "Mode not supported, 36hz..etc" something like that. Anyone know anything might cause this, its a flat screen MAG i believe". It does this for most of the boot process and then when it comes to logging in, it shows back up and everything is fine.

Edit Would going to windows property/advance/monitor and changing the refresh rate to 60hz...would that help this issue? I cant test this now seeing that i'm at work.

It sounds like that's the problem, it also has to be at a resolution that your monitor supports and not like 148975x82993. wink

I don't understand why Windows wouldn't automatically change the rate when it turns on. Obviously it changes the rate somehow if when it turns on everything is fine. I had a problem with the rate on one of my old shitty computers and it was the opposite, during boot it was fine, then when it loaded everything went to shit...

Most new moniters will automatically refresh with a rate your moniter supports though, so I don't know what's up with yours.

Before I got my 19" from GiftFiesta, I was checking Rosewill's (Manufacturer) website and they said that you have to change your resolution and refresh rate, before hooking up your Rosewill monitor.

I assume it would be the same for most others. shrug
