I got into UC Santa Cruz! Anyone else get into a UC?

So today I got home, there's this big 8x11 packet that says UC SANTA CRUZ YourUniversity right on it with my name in the address. I take out the stuff and immediately cover the front page with my name on it with the folder that's enclosed in it. I read it "line by line" to find out that it's a blank sheet of paper with only my name/address on it.
Then I open the folder to find...
My admission has been accepted! Yeah!
Does that mean now I'm down to hang with Admin in college? =D
And did anyone get accepted into a UC? Post your experiences/reactions. I envy everyone who got into UCLA =(

Haven't decided where I am going yet. Got to see where else I get accepted.
I know a good amount of people who got into UCLA, and some who ran off to UCSD.

I got rejected from UCLA 7 years ago (wow I'm old). I picked a really tough major to apply for, which was dumb in hindsight. I got into USC, UCSB, Davis, Boulder, and Marquette. I ended up at UCSB and I'm never regretted it. Its an awesome school. HUGE PARTIES! I was at UCLA a lot because my best friend went there and would've loved going there too...

it is with the awesomeness! except my majors a bitch so wayyy too much school work ( but it's much more relaxed here than at UCLA, where i spent much of my youth, as the daughter of a going-back-to-school-mom

UCs send people admission/rejection letters at different times. There's no set date when you know you'll be hearing from them, just a range.

Ah man my plan is to transfer after two years because I'm majoring in Film, so it's best to finish that up in UCLA.

Computer Engineering too but i wanna specialize in this geneticcomputer engineering thing my cousin does where they treat DNA as a computer and disorders as viruses to help with genetic disorders like Down's Syndrome

Santa Cruz is pretty awesome. I live about an hour from Santa Cruz. I can't wait for The Expendables to come back to the Catalyst so I can go see them.
