Actually, PHP would be the wrong language to use in this instance. If you had Linux you could use cron...but you probably don't. What would you need this for anyways?

(it's not a great reason, but....) i use a CMS site for my school, and there is a "hot hits" section based on number of hits to your site every 24 hrs, and I just wanted my site to be on the "hot hits"... Anyone?

Thats pathetic IMO to ask somebody to write you a script to generate fake traffic to your site to get you on a "hot hits" page for your school?
Why not get traffic the old fashion way? Makeing a good site that people wan't to go to.

Do they not filter hits and count only unique visitors? I'd have to think that they would...if not...just Google for the FireFox extension...I believe its called "Reload Every" or something like that.
BTW - you suck for trying to generate fake hits.
