Why?
nope if they do tell them to never call you again.

I got a random call form Earthlink yesterday which when I picked up, they didn't even introduce themselves or ask to speak to anyone, they just went right into some shite about wanting to give me Earthlink for the half the price.
I told her I had no money and couldn't afford it and she still tried to sell it to me. roll

This is exactly what I am talking about. From this thread, it would imply that the OP and many of the responders have done AOL many times. If you have, good for you, but don't speak about it here please.

Jiggah what?
I honestly see nothing in this thread that implies anyone (including myself talking about Earthlink) has done AOL multiple times, besides EatChex's comment. Many sites, especially DIY sites have multiple AOL offers on their sites (Regular AOL, AOL MusicNow, AOL SpyZapper etc) and doing each of those once is fine.

I guess it is technichally OK to do each one once, but if you called AOL and asked them, i guaretee you they would say why the fuck would you wanna sign up for 5 diff versions of AOL? Are you legitimately interested in regular, but you decide its not for you, so you try music, but you decide you'd rather have the itunes version....I mean I guess if you are counting like that, then cancelling AOL multiple times is not frauding. I just found it weird that people were speaking as if they've cancelled AOL so many times that they know all the shit like the back of their hand.

I think it's pretty much public knowledge that AOL are bastards when it comes to cancelling their services, inand outside of the freebie world.
About 2 years ago (before I was involved in all of this), it took my wife and mother-in-law three calls telling them to cancel AOL (and being told each time that it would be) for them to actually cancel it and stop billing us.
The fact that they were sued for it shows how twattish they are.

Nah but when i went to cancel it , aol actually had a thing saying i didn't open the program at all. I hadn't even downloaded it.
So the lady actually made me use the program for a day to cancel it.
Was an offer for www.treasuretrooper.com
Cancelled stamps.com today took me about 4 minutes to wait and the guy did it asap. He said you signed up for 2 services within 10 minutes, gave me option of billing to check/credit card or if i wanted the other option "oh sure ill get your address of their site and mail ya the money"
Right see ya.

for the record i'm pretty sure you're not supposed to do the "different" aol offers one time each... the "addons" do not make the offer unique, they just make aol an easier sell for promoters. it's all the same offer (aol) just with or without certain bells/whistles (musicnet, etc)
