OK, like back for a week in march, my little 13 yr old sister was getting Voicemails and calls (in a funky voice), threatening to kill her and rape her. Well anyways my mom made her change her phone number. And cingular told us that we would find out all numbers (even blocked/private ones) when the bill came. Well anyways, today the bill came, and the calls that my sister pointed out that were the harrassing calls, all had her number as the number that the incoming call came from. ( ex. her number is 5556666, it says incoming call from 5556666, when it should be infact stating the number of the perpetrators) one of u guys must know how to find out who the motherfucker is, so i can bust his balls wide open.

get the police involved. they can get you who it is, where they live and they'll even go after them and prosecute them. just call them and tell them whats up. you probably will get everything solved in less than 48 hours.

I tried that, but they say that in order for them to be able to do anything, they need to know the phone number. Memphis poilice suck btw. They are big pieces of turd.

I hate that shit. We have some service for our home phone that asks telemarketers to identify themselves by entering their number. They enter our own number so its creepy cause it looks like someone is calling the house using the house phone (even creepier if you're home alone wink).

I don't have cingular so I am not sure with them.
But with Verizon you can call them and have them find out for you...and tell them you want to press charges..then when you find out...call the cops..or take it the law into your own hands.

my mom made her get a new number. It probably is one of those lil 7th grader punks. But it doesn't matter, like a prank call is eg. "hahaha u got overdue movies at blockbuster for..........naughty nurses9, afroLOVers2, etc) not. " im gonna rape u, slit ur throat, etc" . Its not that it scared or hurt anybody, i just wanna get this lil punk for being a dumbass.

He was saying that a prank call would be fine if it was something dumb like a notice about blockbuster rentals, not threats of rape. I say call the police until they are willing to do something about it.

I did have an idea where she could start distributing her new phone # amongst some of her freinds slowly. And then if the guy started calling again. But she made the mistake of telling all of her little buddies about the incident, and word probably got out around her school. And whoever the caller was probably got wind of it, and is probably keeping quiet.

It's always from 330 to 4 pm, and the number is always "Unknown". When it first started happening about 3 weeks ago I actually picked up and answered. After me saying hello for a few moments there is no response - no computer turning on, nothing. So I hang up.
Eventually I get sick of this call coming in every day so I called Cingular. Apparently there is no way to block Unknown numbers [bf6dc8bffe1]or any numbers[/bf6dc8bffe1], for that matter. All they can do is get you a new phone number. How helpful of them -/

If you file a police report and get the case # etc, and then call the phone company, they will give you the #.

OK, just got off the phone w/ popo. They said call cingular. OK, well nwo that I have talked to them, they have insisted that I talk to cingular. Cingular says the only way is if u take the case to court (lawer and court costs) and get a subpoena to open their tower records (which in many cases will result in not producing records of the phone number even then.)

OK, i talked to the REAL popo now. They seemed helpful, and they actually come to ur house to ask questions etc. My parents weren't home, so they said to have my dad call, because im under 18. Somaybe we might find out who this sucka is.
