Ok, so I was listening to my 80s music on my iPod in my car today.

Then, I went into the post office to mail my InternetOpinionGroup vouchers, and came back to turn my iPod on.

However, nothing happened. I tried plugging it into the iCarPlay, but nothign happened. I tried plugging into the AC adapter, nothing happened. I tried turning hold on and off, it won't turn on. Nothing is happening with my iPod.

It's 30gb black video, if that helps.

try reseting it. hold menu + middle button for 10 seconds.

someone stole it while you were in the post office and replaced it w/ a replica. you actually have a 10cent piece of really heavy yet useless plastic in your hand right now. NICE!

j/k did you leave it on when you left your car, or did you turn it off b4 you went inside? drop it or anything?

some people are just too embarased to mention it shrug

anyways i didn't mean like drop it 6 feet on concrete. i mean maybe like falling off a seat or when he opened his car door. did it hit the screen or anything? it dosn't have to be some huge crash or anything

Only thing I can think of is what I had to do with mine in teh same situation, move the hold button back and forth for a few secs, then press and hold the menu and select button at the same time... worked for mine shrug good luck

Check http//www.apple.com/support/ipod/ (not 100% sure on the link, just off the top of my head)

If it is the right page, you can find tips to make it work again... Good Luck!

I noticed that if i leave my iPod in the car in cold weather like 0C/32F for about half an hour and try turning it back on, it won't turn on at all. I have to leave it in the car so it can "warm" back up (after i start the car back on), and then it turns back on, but with the battery drained to bottom red......... (luckily, i have a car charger ready)

Not sure if it was cold where you are, but yea, that's just my experience. My iPod needs warming up if left in the car in cold weather.

It wasn't that cold yesterday, like 45. Plus, I was only gone for about 5 minutes.
