Am I being a dick?

ok, so this guy posts in the wrong thread about a question, and I get called a dick and am told that i'm not a mod because I tried to help him... maybe i'm missing something... here's how it went...

So I went on their site to check my gift status, put in my email address, and the password that I use, and it gave me a message that my email address/password were not in the system. So I then clicked the link to have them email the password to me. I did that and it said that the email was "Sent" to me, but I have yet to receive anything at all. I went ahead and shot them email about the problem. I know it's sunday night, and they're not open, so I'm hoping this is why this problem is occurring. I just wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience with this site, or other sites, and what they did about it. I just don't want to have completed those 3 offers for nothing.....[/quotea895c45df8]


I would call them tomorrow and see if they know of any Internet forums that deal with freebie sites. Then go to that forum and spend a little time reading through some of the posts and using the search engine. You should be able to find what you are looking for.

Yea, it doesn't really matter if you think i'm a dick... just wanted to see what people thought....

I don't try to act like a mod, and i only realize i'm a dick to people I know personally, (williebeamin2000, who goes to my school) other noobs I try to give them enough info to find it but not just give it to them...

Huh? There I was being a dick, but it was because the info you needed should have been the first think you read, way before making a post... I am nice as long as the answeres to the questions are extremly easy to find, and the questions have been asked time after time...

You were being a dick in that thread and you are consistently being a dick in the DIY section. You are always calling people names and you never help anyone with anything. Me and Gigante both agree you try to act like a mod on the DIY section and an asshole mod at that. The fact that I locked one thread and then called you out and you run here and beg for attention says a lot about you. If its a stupid thread just leave it alone, one of the mods will take care of it and you don't have to worry...
