Missile War Plan!

I am having a debate about if the US s missile war plan is a good idea or not, for my government class. I am pro and think that it is. What do you guys think? Pros, Con?

a HUGE chunk of our spending goes into missle technology (whiley you hear more about defensive, both are funded equally heavily).

we've had plans years before the cold war even started.

Sorry, i was meaning if it was a good idea.

Stop the vaguness please. If you want help just tell me what your plan is and how/why it's beneficial What does the missle plan entail? What specific portions of the plan are you for? And if your debating never think the plan is effective. You should display a confidence that instituting the plan will be effective.

For the most part you can take any side in an argument as long as you supply yourself with reasonable facts and opinions.

Please elaborate on your own views.
