how in the world do i do this?

Ok, well I just got a buttload of viruses on my comp a few days ago, i've done all the software to get rid of them, it got most of it, but not all. i'm sick and tired of this, and want to start with a clean slate.

I have an hp desktop running on windows xp. How do I completely start everything over? Wipe the hard drive clean? (This will get rid of the virus, right?)

uh.. boot the CD that came with the computer..

Get the re-format disk, should have come in the original package...

yup, as well as every other piece of info on your comp....

yeah when you reinstall windows, it will ask you if u want to format quick or thorough or just install it without doing anything...

i've done it like 25 times haha

Thats why I only use throw away computers, when they to cluttered with crap just buy new one. Then donate the last one to goodwill and get tax writeoff.
