Its made our local news (Rochester) alot the past week. I think its great they let him play a game after being the manager for the entire time.

That's awesome. It'd be interesting to see how he would've done for a whole season if they'd treated him just like a normal player.

Thats what I was thinking...but there's really no way to know. If he was good I'm sure the coach/players would have pushed him to get on the court, and we don't really know if he even wanted to be anything but the manager. Nonetheless, pretty amazing. How many of us are from/living in the Rochester area? Hairy, ltsmash2, and me...who else?

It he would have played the whole season teams would have known that the kid can hit the three and just planted someone on him. I'm sure he can't dribble well. Plus they wouldn't feed him the ball every play if he was a regular player.

wow i had no idea, i saw this kid like 18 times on espn, just thought he made some record for 3 pointers but the fact he had autism is amazing, instead we give latrell sprewell millions of dollars, this kid is a true champ, the world sucks

Bball knows what it like to be autistic and have to play basketball for a whole season. JK lol

Let the kid play. I wouldnt want to be the one guarding him though. Imagine he dropped that 20 on you and you were actually playing D.

I live close to Rochester, right between Rochester and Syracuse. I saw it on ESPN down at my school in Athens, OH.
