Damn True.com. I sign up for their crap with my paypal card, and I never keep more then $5 in my PayPal account. I forget to cancel, which usually isn't a problem, but fucking paypal gives them their money and puts my account in the negative. Then the assholes reverse a cashout I had to cover the balance, so I get fucked and had to pay it. $49.99 will never bee seen againhttp//forum.freeipodguide.com/smilies_mod/upload/6143eb9a42fb735201647b8d3fdc9688.gif[" alt=""/img8cd9c3c23f]

Moral of the post - PayPal debit cards don't always work in avoiding charges x

That's what you get for not being responsible.

Dude, are you trying to say you tried to scam an offer? Stop whining. You tried to scam an offer by not paying up, you got charged. And btw, you've been around for a while to know that talk of cancelling offers is prohibited =/

i wasn't talking about cancelling or scamming an offer. it's not scamming if you have them autocancel becasue they can't obrain payment. I've seen many people around here saying they use prepaid cards and stuff in case they get obnoxious charges that aren't desearved, and i'm just saying it doesn't always work because they can still charge, well at least PayPal cards.

NOT TO MENTION!!! freepay never gave me credit (

It was deserved though, and yes, it is scamming imo.

Did you complete the offer correctly? By completing your unique profile and complatibility test? And if you really were interested in the offer but did not find use in it you would have called them up.

Here's a suggestion Call them, explain the situation, and ask for a chargeback. Most of the time it works.

banning pokernerd... whatever.

I supposed no one else out here has ever forgot to end the trial period before it expired.

I tried TRUE.com, called on the last day of the trial and was told it ended the day before. I had printed proof it ended the day I called and they still charged me. Told me there was nothing they could do.

I called my credit card company, faxed them the papers and emails I had from True and had them reverse the charges. So far, nothing from True or the credit card company. The credit card company even reembursed the few cents of interest I had paid.

If I do the trial and decide not to keep it and forget to call in time, then that's called a wash and it made the freebie that much more to get. But I've learned to keep good notes, set alarms in my PDA and keep track of the offers I've done and what site I did them for. This seems like a lot of work, but it's helped.

Regardless, True is a good offer to do, so long as you keep track of the trial period. A single friend of mine did the offer and decided to keep it, although he said it was pretty expensive for a dating site.

you should have signed up as a female..you don't have to put in any cc info. That's pretty effing messed up though, if you ask me.
