How does this work?

I have an ibook which I open already, but it's not even a week old from recieveing it and I have a ipod nano from freepay which i havent open yet.

Can i take this back to apple store and get store credit for a powerbook?

What is the policy?? Can anyone help out? Thanks!

Best way is to say it is a gift, no reciept, and that you'd like to get something else in exchange. It doesn't always work but from my experience, sympathy is the best way to "con" someone ;D

Do you know if this will work with an Apple Store?

It usually works. It has worked in all my experiences.

What I would do is this Go to the mall or wherever your apple store is. Travel with a friend. You go in (it shouldn't matter that it is open) and ask to exchange it. Then, have your friend go in with the nano and do the same. Never asks for too much. And also, look for the nicest and gulliblist person in the whole store. [b751e3110ae] IT WILL HELP![/b751e3110ae]

do this

bring them both back and say u recently got them both as gifts and u would like to upgrade. upgrading is the key, when you upgrade the make more money. so it will offset the cost of having inventory thats not theirs sitting on shelves. u might have trouble with the opened ibook though

It will not work with nuitech because they can not return something that is registered to a company. You can return freepay's because it is registered to peter martin.

I turned in my Mac Mini for apple credit. they said it had to be unopened. I didn't have a receipt though. They won't give you any discounts towards new items

target and walmart take back items without receipts. have to do like items that day, no change given. you can pay the difference. do not do this too often as they take down your information (ID number etc.)

Wal-Mart only allows 3 returns without reciept per customer.
