actually I read some stuff over at AICN about this, they claim it will be a two part saga with 3 villans in this film, ending in a cliffhanger setting up the 4th and final movie

There's also a clip from Underworld there in the beginning...

The X-men are a good property in general, but the Spider-man movies are far superior in terms of quality, plot, acting, etc.

the black suit is spiderman in the venom suit

and the spider man movies on a whole are overall better movies than the x-men ones.

although im really looking forward to X3

Venom being in Spider-man 3 is not confirmed yet; Kirsten Dunst let it slip at some press conference a year back that the villains are Sandman and Venom, but no one from the studio has confirmed or denied this slip-up.

ok well ani't it cool news posted an interview with a sony rep that was later taken down at sony's request pretty much spilling the beans on the movie.

I think venom is a go but from what I read sandman will be the main villan of the movie, along with spiderman and the venom suit for about half the movie

there will be a 4th one too.

For people who didn't like Harry Potter, my suggestion is this watch the first 3 movies but then read the 4th book (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). It's the best book of the series, but you don't have to trudge through the first three books to get the wonderful pay off.
